The Gift of Mentoring is the most meaningful gift you can give to a young person facing adversity and in need of a caring and supportive relationship. It’s the gift that brings lasting change to children, families and entire communities. It’s the gift that truly keeps on giving!

Give ‘BIG’

Take a Child Off the Waitlist - $1,500

You have the opportunity to give a child a very special gift this year – a mentor. We always have more children and youth waiting to be matched than mentors, so some of our youth have to wait a while. Help us end the wait, and match a child with a caring mentor. It’s one of the simplest and most effective ways of making a big impact..

Strengthen our Cornerstone Programs – Big Brothers, Big Sisters and In-School Mentoring - $25,000

Children waiting to be matched with a mentor through one of our cornerstone programs are often dealing with challenges such as stress and anxiety, difficulty managing and expressing emotions, relational poverty, financial poverty, trauma, grief and loss. Our professionally supported one-to-one mentoring in school and in the community effectively buffers the impact of these adverse early life experiences. These programs have the greatest service demand and a proven track record, yet receive minimal government funding. They rely on the generosity of caring citizens like YOU. Please help us strengthen and grow our cornerstone programs.

mPower Youth - $50,000

High school can be a daunting time for youth. It’s a life stage where having a mentor is really important, so we run a program specially created for these youth. mPower is a high-impact program that pairs high school youth with mentors who help them identify their strengths, explore their passions and achieve their goals as they journey to adulthood. It’s a program focused on growth and achievement in and beyond school. A $50,000 gift keeps this program running in 2018.
