Youth in Care Mentoring

The Youth in Care mentoring program connects youth (aged 12-24) who are currently involved with Child Intervention Services with a supportive, caring adult mentor. These mentoring relationships build confidence, feelings of connection and relationship skills in the youth.

Ages: 12 – 24 Years

Time Commitment: 2 Years, meeting 10-12 hour each month

Mentored boys are also two times less likely than non-mentored boys to develop negative conducts like bullying, fighting, lying or cheating.
