While our mentors generously donate their time, it costs approximately $6,000 to fund a community match for a year. This funding ensures the invaluable screening, training, and monitoring that happens behind the scenes for every match.
From our Big Impact Report this year, 76% of young people in our community-based mentoring program have experienced four or more Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs). These challenges can create social barriers that make it harder for youth to form strong relationships, thrive in school, and can negatively impact their future employment opportunities as adults.
